Jaideep Bansal is a graduate from IIT Bombay. Formerly, 6 years with P&G.
Currently, Energy Access Leader, Global Himalayan Expedition (GHE); has
been involved with GHE in setup of DC based Solar Micro Grids for the off
grid remote Himalayan Villages and the team has electrified 25 villages,
impacting the lives of over 7,000 people. GHE plans to electrify 40 more
villages in the region by 2017. The team has also been instrumental in
providing experiential-based digital education to the students of the
Ladakh region by setting up Himalayan Innovation Centers, which have won
the Design for Change Award two years in a row for sustainability projects.
With GHE, also set the world record for the first electric bike to reach
the highest motorable road in the world in Sept. 2015. National Geographic
and NDTV have each made a documentary on GHE and its initiative to bring
light to the remotest communities of the world. Member of the Foundation
