Previously, he was a senior analyst and client portfolio manager in Goldman Sachs Asset Management's Quantitative Investment Strategies group, specializing in liquid alternative investment strategies. He previously worked as a statistician for the Dallas Cowboys, creating their 4th down decision making calculator, and was an economic researcher at the Federal Reserve Bank of Chicago, where he worked on macroeconomic forecasts and co-authored several studies with senior economists. He holds an A.B. in Economics and Mathematics with honors from the University of Chicago.
