About me:

The inspirer for the EdCamp movement in Ukraine (, the founder of Education Producing Agency ( and the adviser to the Minister of Education and Science of Ukraine.

A PhD in Technical Sciences, specializes in Computer Sciences and Marketing of nonprofit organizations with over 10-year management experience in the fields of education and IT. He is the author of more than 40 scientific articles, patents and popular science publications.

Oleksandr manages Ukrainian and international projects in which IT interact with education. In particular, every 3rd school of Ukraine has its website on School Champion platform ( and about 2,000 educational videos on Khan Academy available in Ukrainian and Russian (

He is also a coach and a speaker at local and international events.

Dr. Elkin is the Chairman of the Secondary Education Subcommittee in the Public Council under the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine. He is currently participating in the initiatives aimed to reform secondary education in Ukraine being a co-author of the New Ukrainian School concept and state standards. Has also developed a mechanism of implementing non-discriminatory expertise of 8-th grade textbooks and primary school programs.

He promotes the modern etiquette of the digital age and is the author of a series of books in the creative union of technological gourmets P@El (

Oleksandr is a founding curator for Kharkiv Hub of Global Shapers community (, an international initiative of the World Economic Forum; he was also one of the Ukrainian delegates at Forum-2014 in Davos, Switzerland.

In addition, he is a graduate of the U.S. Congress Open World leadership cooperation program ( The coordinator of the Global Dignity Day 2015/16 in Ukraine (, a member of the expert council of the Ukrainian educational innovation Fund BrainBasket (
