Receiving a bachelor's degree on Business Administration at PUCRS, Tomás has studied two years in Spain, having focused on the first year in business administration and the second year in film criticism at Universitat de Barcelona

In 2008, in his return to Brazil, he completed a master's degree in marketing and digital communication at ESPM (Leading marketing School in Brazil)
In this same year he co-founded Quavio Digital Solutions, company that now is known as ENGAGE (the first company in Brazil focused on business strategy and technology for social engagement and social innovation projects - www.engage.is)
Tomás is now a business partner at CATARSE (the first crowdfunding platform in Brazil and the first open source in the world - www.catarse.me)

Since 2011 he has been specializing in crowdfunding and crowdsourcing technologies and has given lectures on the issue, and nowadays is a teacher at ESPM. (Leading Marketing School in Brazil)
As one of the directors of ABRADiRS (Brazilian Association for Digital Agencies), Tomás promotes the collaborative culture in the digital agencies on his region and in his spare time he studies film criticism as a hobby

In 2012 Tomás Co-founded AWESOMEPOA (www.awesomepoa.org), a local social movement that is inspired by (www.awesomefoundation.org), an international social movement to foster creative economy and new great ideas and projects that generates shared value for society

Co-founded PORTO ALEGRE COMO VAMOS a social movement focused on civic engagement and discussion of new public policies for the city of Porto Alegre. The movement has created www.voto.poacomovamos.org, a web platform wich creates the space for interaction between city councilman candidates and electors for 2012 Porto Alegre´s election
