'Ajmer' is a bustling heritage city, home to a number of tourist places and being a pilgrimage centre, it's a perfect representation of the diversity of the Indian culture and ethics, and displays a perfect blend of religion, community, culture, etc., coexisting and flourishing in harmony. The Smart City Ajmer, known as the 'heart' of Rajasthan, and one of the oldest municipalities in India since 1869, is surrounded by the expansive lake of Ana Sagar and the rugged hills of Aravalli mountains. In literal sense, gets its name from “Ajay Meru”, which can be roughly translated as “invincible hill”.  What was once a well-known learning centre across the country in British era (19th century), and known for it's Marwari heritage or entrepreneurial past (in 20th century); but in modern times (21st century) it didn't grow with time & the youth outgrew the city. "

The Global Shapers Ajmer Hub will be a diverse community of changemakers, entrepreneurs, creators, artists and innovators from various walks of life, nurturing and empowering each other and aims to bridge the gap between Ajmer and rest of the world. 

We aim to achieve this through various collaborations across global networks and creating access to opportunities for all the stakeholders involved, while helping them discover their full potential and positively impacting the lives of local community. The Global Shapers Ajmer Hub is a commitment to giving back to the society, by creating resilient and self-sustainable communities where everyone has an equal opportunity and the youth have a platform to unleash their curiosity and creativity. 

Our initiatives will focus on ecosystem development projects around youth leadership, gender equality, community engagement, sustainable development/ SDGs, education, innovation, technology, entrepreneurship, and climate action. 

We aim to help Ajmer reconnect with it's lost glory, and help live it's ""Ajay Meru"" name in literal sense in the 21st century.

Our mission is to create a self-sustainable hub of changemakers and future-ready impact leaders. Through collaboration and education, we aim to be the catalyst for a socio-economic shift and enrich the Ajmer's intellectual fabric by transforming it into a vibrant and connected city.
