Global Shapers Bethlehem Hub is a space to connect young changemakers from Bethlehem, providing them with the cross-cultural knowledge and network they need to break down barriers and solve their community’s challenges, creating positive social change for themselves, their families, and their communities, so that everyone can thrive.

Vision: Inspiring youth as agents of positive change by connecting like-minded youth, creative ideas, and local resources to tackle critical issues affecting the community in Bethlehem.

Mission: Uniting youth in Bethlehem to design inclusive actions to improve their access to opportunities with the motivation to solve socio-economic and environmental challenges affecting the Bethlehem community and to help people in Bethlehem figure out their unique way of making positive change.

We believe that the world's biggest problems won’t be solved by one big global solution, but rather by one thousand local solutions.

Aligned with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) “Leave no one behind”, the Global Shapers Bethlehem Hub aims to promote youth as agents of positive change, contributing to the local achievements of SDG 5 “Gender Equality” and SDG 8 “Decent Work and Economic Growth” specifically.

Global Shapers Bethlehem Hub will contribute to the overall objective of the Global Shapers Community, which works “to build a global community of outstanding young people committed to improving the state of the world. With its motto: Shape Your Future – integrating the personal, the community, and the global dimension – the Global Shapers Community enables youth to be a voice for the future in local, regional, and global thought processes and a catalyst of entrepreneurship in the global public interest.”

We believe in a world where young people are central to solution-building, policy-making, and lasting change. In each city, teams of Global Shapers self-organize to create initiatives that address local, regional, and global challenges.
