This reflects in the projects they do and the type of activities they join. The Paramaribo Shapers have different backgrounds representing different fields such as agriculture, environment and ecology, biomedical engineering, entrepreneurship, social justice, information technology, and geology. Despite their various backgrounds they all have one common goal:
