The Fourth Industrial Revolution (4IR), driven by artificial intelligence and the Internet of Things, will transform everyone's lives. But we must work to ensure that this transformation is towards a resilient future for all. Shapers in the Miami Hub propose a readiness programme that provides cross-sector training to decision-makers, as well as private and public sector engineers, architects, solution designers, emergency managers and contrators, to apply the latest innovations of the 4IR to pressing challenges in the city. Shapers wish to equip leaders with the latest research, models and solutions for smart and resilient planning, infrastructure, disaster response and rapid recovery, especially in the face climate change and sea level rise.
