#AbuelitoDimeTu was a social media campaign that aimed to position locally an asylum so they could meet their volunteer needs, through a campaign to sponsor senior adults.


  • Phase I: First visit and photoshoot The asylum was visited to obtain the wishes of senior adults, where a photograph was taken by the person, holding a sign with his wish.

  • Phase II: Social media campaign The photos were released explaining the dynamic so each senior adult would be sponsored by someone. Everything was published from the asylums fan page in order to draw more traffic to their site.

  • Phase III: Meeting day Within the framework of Grandfather's Day, a meeting was organized so that every sponsor would bring their gift to the senior adult and spend quality time with them.

The campaign included other donations that were delivered that same day, such as clothes, medicines, cleaning supplies, and others. Impact:


  • All senior adults were sponsored within 2 hours from the start of the campaign.

  • The Facebook post had an organic reach of more than 10,000 people and was shared 417 times.

  • The dynamic has been replicated by 5 asylums within the state.
