Today's generation is living with the significant effects of climate change, still many individuals today are not completely aware of this crisis, which is emerging day by day. The Faisalabad Hub has set the objective to spread awareness about the present situation of climate change. To reach as many people as possible, the project team broadcasted specific messages on the local radio FM 96.6 in collaboration with the University of Faisalabad. These messages included current facts and figures, as well as ideas that could lead to a positive contribution to the climate by individuals themselves. During phase 1 of the project ( 1^st Jan 2020 till 30^th April 2020), 18 public awareness messages were broadcasted on a half-hourly basis (3-4 short messages during each break after half-hour) and reached up to one-sixth of the city, i.e. equivalent to 600,000 people within Faisalabad. Phase 2 of the project will start from 1^st September onwards. The team is looking forward to informing and educating the general public about the changing climate and its significant effects as much as possible so that the course could be reserved, and our planet can be saved.
