Assistance to Evacuees from the Massacre

Following the massacre on 7.10, about 200,000 residents were evacuated from slaughter and war zones in Israel and they are refugees in their own country. These evacuees were evacuated to assistance centers, most of them without work and economic support and need flexible remote work that will allow them flexibility and the ability to maintain it when they return home.

The target audience is those evacuees who were evacuated to Jerusalem. Through a landing page and stalls at the assistance centers, we collected names of job seekers and professional experience and connected them to employers who were interested in absorbing workers across the country. In addition, we concentrated places that agreed to donate remote workstations from their offices, and we provided a comprehensive envelope and even donations of laptops through INTEL.

The project’s goals were to create infrastructure and collaborations that allow the project to run on its own, as well as a high number of evacuees who will find work through the remote project. During the project, about 30 laptops were distributed (6 of them to at-risk youth in East Jerusalem) and about 40 evacuees found a place of work, in addition to over 200 workstations donated in Jerusalem.
