We love to eat and drink. And we believe that food unites the physical, mental and spiritual nature of human beings. But it also represents a fundamental challenge for a more sustainable future, an issue of the highest importance both on local and global levels. At #Bärenhunger à table, we champion a diverse and sustainable regional food system. Bern must become a capital of food – for we all are what we eat and drink.
 
The first #Bärenhunger à table took place in a converted industrial hall on a hot summer evening in August 2016. Guests included, among others, city councillors, representatives of food organizations, gastronomers and agricultural manufacturers.
