In support of the work done by local partner organisations (including children's homes and other shelters) and in a fight against the rising levels of hunger in the City of Tshwane, which have been worsened by the Covid19 pandemic, Tshwane Hub is running a donations drive bi-annually to support any needs for their centres. There is a great need for essentials such as food and clothes, toys for children and essential items for women in shelters.

The programme has impacted ~50 people in Mamelodi and Tshwane at a children's home and local church supporting people in need. The programme will continue as a humanitarian arm of the Tshwane Hub and will also be the conduit to channel any emergency response and relief efforts in and around Tshwane (e.g. flood and fire relief response).

The project mainly mobilises the Shapers in the Tshwane Hub as well as private organisations and individuals to collect donations and funds.
