The project aims to provide university and high school libraries in Afghanistan much needed access to English language books to not only help Afghan children gain access to publications available in Europe and the US, but also to strengthen ties between Central Europe and Afghanistan. The project is coordinated by the European Academy of Diplomacy in cooperation with Young Leaders Forum at GlobSec 2014 in Bratislava and supported by the Warsaw Hub. GlobSec work with the Afghan Deputy Ministry for Youth Affairs and Kabul University. The EAD is the primary collection point in Warsaw, while GlobSec will ensure transportation to universities in Kabul and surrounding cities.

Warsaw Hub hosts a collection event, encouraging the large English-speaking community of professionals living in Warsaw to contribute books, and combining the event with an opportunity for informal networking.
