Building the Future School Project

"Building the Future School Project" aims to support the educational activities of Kamikyo City's Nanso Junior High School and achieve the creation of a school based on 21st-century skills and competencies.

Project Background:
・With the revision of the curriculum guidelines in 2021, public junior high schools are now expected to engage in educational activities based on 21st-century skills and competencies. However, teachers in public junior high schools face challenges in transforming their teaching methods due to limited opportunities for interaction with individuals working outside of the school and difficulty in acquiring knowledge and time related to society.

・Students residing in depopulating areas face limitations in their future career choices due to the declining local population, making it difficult for them to realize their desired career paths.
