The Government of India launched the Swachh Bharat Campaign on 2nd October 2014 and since then it is taking lot of effort to ensure and implement steps toward making this campaign a success. To take the movement further Global Shapers Community- Jaipur Hub is implementing a holistic program for cleaning the renowned heritage site Nahargarh Fort, Jaipur. This project requires a total of around 300 volunteers.

About Nahargarh- Nahargarh is an immensely loved and popular heritage of Jaipur and renowned throughout the world. Located on a hilltop with scenic backdrop of the Aravalli Hills, this fort gives you a breathtaking view of hilly milieu. The road that connects Jal Mahal to Nahargarh is a stretch of 10 kms by the hills offering great viewpoints. It attracts tourists, travellers, athletes, cyclists, riders among others. Due to lack of awareness, littering can be easily seen on the sides of driveway and at the viewpoints. The littering mainly consists of plastic and broken bottles. The unfortunate situation is alarming and requires immediate attention and action from both the Government and the people alike.
