Climate Clock & Zero Emission Schools

The project aims at installing and projecting in Florence several climate clocks. Each clock combines a deadline (zero-emission) with a lifeline (percentage share of renewables). The climate clock reacts to our climate-related decisions as a community. The numbers will change depending on how we act.

Moreover, the project aims at involving high school students in climate change reality by making them apply the CO2 emission estimation model to their school buildings.

The project mobilizes audiences on a mass scale, connects each individual to action, and educates the next generation. It also contributes to the involvement of high school students in sustainability matters, by assembling a small climate clock in each school and calculating the school's emissions thanks to the data obtained by the students.
