Concert in the Dark and Self Expression Workshop

Aiming to train participants’ sense of communication by music and dance, Kyoto hub is holding “Concert in a Dark and Self Expression Workshop.”

Now people are facing the difficulties on commnication because the way of communicating has changed by COVID (online communication, expressive face concealed by mask...), and they need a new aspect for training their senses of communication. Therefore, Kyoto hub is producing a sense training workshop, in the lead of Kiyoka Nakanishi, a world champion tap dancer, a member of GSs,

part 1: listening to music & tap dance concert with eye mask (imagining)

part 2: taking off their eye mask (noticing the difference between their  imagination and the fact)

part3: communicating by tap dancing (listen, move, express themselves)

This project included 2 disabled performers,  4 staff and 1 participant from GSs Kyoto Hub.
