Quebec City has the lowest unemployment rate in Canada with 3,8%. The lack of qualified workers that first affected specific sectors such as IT, industrial and healthcare related professions, is now generalised. As Global Shapers, we want to engage a conversation with local stakeholders and organizations about what youth are searching for in terms of professional engagement as well as foster inspiration by having conversations on various initiatives that could bring solutions to the problem. With the Fourth Industrial Revolution, work can no longer be perceived the same, as our work environments are now being rapidly transformed by emerging technologies. This series of panels discussions and workshops, engaging local stakeholders, organizations, young people and marginalized groups aims to have true conversations on the subject. This will also be followed by a local report that will be shared with local stakeholders.
