India celebrates a week of Daan Utsav, which is translated to Festival of Donation every year from 2 to 8 October. This year Pune Hub decided to donate their time and energy in doing something for the community. Pune Hub organized a Daan Utsav this year by creating and participating in events focusing on various SDGs. The hub organized multiple activities by partnering with various NGOs and volunteering organizations. Shapers successfully reached up to 500+ people from the activities arranged under the Pune Hub's Daan Utsav.

The project activities included:

• Collaborated with RobinHood Army and prepared food for 80+ people focusing on nutrition and distributed in the community.


• Collaborated with Badlaav Foundation to make 120+ bags with red dots for sanitary pads and diaper disposal (segregation at source) to create awareness about conscious waste disposal.


• Collaborated with Udaan India Foundation, Mumbai to conduct virtual sessions for 30+ kids coming from underprivileged background on speaking skills and the idea of expression.
  


• Pune Hub collaborated with iVolunteer to make sandwiches for 900 kids coming from lower socio economic background at a government school.
