Ehsan Prihatin

Problem Statement:

Since the start of the 2nd wave of COVID-19 in Brunei, more migrant workers have reached out to seek assistance to support their daily necessities that have been impacted by the pandemic. In response to this issue, the Ehsan Prihatin donation drive was initiated to collect donations in terms of daily necessities to support the migrant workers and their families.

Goal:

This project aimed to target 40 families or 200 workers from the migrant community. Each donation package provided was designed to last about two weeks for a family of three or less. The packages included essential items such as rice, flour, eggs, onions, salt and sugar, tea, coffee, soap, shampoo, hygiene products, and many more.

Impact:

By the end of a two-week period, BND$12,014 was collected, delivering 235 packages to 547 recipients from the migrant worker community.
