EmpowerHer: Women's Wellness in the Workforce

Project Overview: Empowering Women's Health and Well-being


Problem Statement: Many women lack access to comprehensive healthcare information and support throughout various life stages, leading to challenges in family planning, maternal health, and overall well-being.


Target Group: Women of diverse backgrounds, including those in different life stages such as fertility, pregnancy, postpartum, parenthood, and menopause. The project aims to cater to women from various socio-economic backgrounds.


Proposed Solution: The project seeks to address this issue by organizing online workshops, led by doctors and experts from the Humm Care team, covering a wide range of topics related to women's health and well-being. Additionally, the distribution of healthcare stage-specific handbooks and pamphlets will provide valuable resources and guidance.


Hub Activities:


  • Online Workshops: Conducting informative sessions on topics like fertility, family planning, mental health, and more, making it convenient for women to access.

  • Handbook Distribution: Disseminating expert-prepared handbooks and pamphlets to provide tangible resources for women's health and well-being.

  • Coordination and Outreach: Implementing email campaigns and network outreach to engage with potential participants and collaborating with non-profit organizations, foundations, universities, NGOs, and government organizations.


Short-term Goals (January - March 2024):


  • Successful outreach and engagement with the target audience.

  • Planning and organization of online workshops and resource distribution.

  • Establishing partnerships with non-profit organizations, foundations, and other collaborators.


Long-term Goals:


  • Continuous provision of accessible health information to women in different life stages.

  • Building a sustainable network of support through collaborations and partnerships.

  • Contributing to overall improvement in women's health and well-being.


Metrics:


  • Workshop Participation: Measure the number of women participating in the online workshops.

  • Resource Distribution: Track the dissemination and utilization of handbooks and pamphlets.

  • Collaboration Impact: Assess the effectiveness of collaborations with non-profit organizations and other partners in expanding reach.
