Youth employment is a major challenge in emerging markets, and in the post-pandemic scenario, it will be a determinant factor to boost and influence the economic recovery and population well-being.

Low-income young people face challenges such as lack of training and qualification, lack of recruitment preparation and access to job postings. There are several organizations which operate on different layers of this problem, but Empreganois is tackling a key issue: how can young people be better prepared for and show their full potential during job recruitment?

Target Group

Low-income unemployed youth in São Paulo.

EmpregaNois aims to support young people to get a job.

Hub Activities:

To tackle this issue, Hub São Paulo launched an online chatbot called Empregabot (https://empregabot.com.br/), which is a platform that prepares young people for recruitment processes. The platform includes:

1. Free online practice tools (Logic, English, and Math);


2. Job interview simulation; 


3. Automated online CV creator.

Sao Paulo Hub is betting on a widely used technology, WhatssApp, to reach the least educated and help them land a first job.

Our main goals are: 

• Help one thousand young people get their first job in São Paulo


• Reach one million users worldwide with our free online practice tools through the Global Shapers community;


• Launch #Hire1Youth, a movement to raise awareness and advocate for this issue
