Period poverty is a global epidemic that disproportionately impacts young girls and women in the global south. Often this triggers a whole set of peripheral issues such as the low participation of young girls in formal schooling.

Kicking off with the distribution of 100 tote bags with sanitary supplies to 100 school girls in Onola community on the 24th of December, the project aims to leverage the local orgs. and Nigerians in the diaspora to ensure that access to clean and affordable sanitary product is a birth right for young girls and women.
