Environment Now

Environment Now is an environmental education and advocacy campaign that emphasizes fun learning for people aged 12 and above. The campaign brings awareness to people about the rapidly degrading environment in Lahore and Pakistan more broadly. This project aims to empower the next generation of people in the city and to educate them on making the right life choices. This project is a collaboration between the Lahore Hub, Ashoka, Changemakersxchange, Robert Bosch Stiftung Foundation, TEDxLahore, British Council, Beaconhouse School System, The City School, LGS, and the Lahore Government.

The associated games (called Ecofunopoly) are environmental board games made of recycled materials that aim to support underprivileged women and promote science through gamified learning. To become a climate champion, each student first undergoes a 3-hour in person training followed by a commitment to inspire at least 20 more students with their actions.
