Erbil Hub kicked off its youth’s capacity-building project in 2019 starting with beginner and Advanced Microsoft Office skills as well as job searching skills. The aim of the project is to increase youths’ capacity and workplace skills, and eventually, their chances for job opportunities.  All the workshops are delivered free of charge by qualified Erbil Hub shapers in Kurdish language for the purpose of benefitting more youths. Around 60 youths in Erbil have benefitted from the capacity building workshops, and a number of whom have been able to land jobs in reputable institutions in the city. The project plans to continue offering the capacity-building courses in an online format. The project will continue to offer courses in the foreseeable future by expanding to other topics like curriculum development and topics by demand from the participants.
