F5 Project

You are invited to press the F5 key on your computer... what happened? Did it update, didn’t it? Well, as in a computer, the current world of work demands constant updating of learning and technical skills to increase one's competitive advantages. But not everyone has access to learn and develop the necessary skills sought by recruitment departments of companies, especially the young population with limited resources.

 

This is why in July 2020, Managua Hub joined forces with ANDECU (Nicaraguan Culture and Education Association) and UNICEF (United Nations Children's Fund), other institutions and key alliances gave way to the creation and execution of F5 Project, a project designed to build a bridge between vulnerable communities and the labor market, developing social and technical skills that allow increasing chances of work insertion and better opportunities in a country in constant evolution and an unstable economy.

 

The goals of the project include:


  1. Contribute to the employability of young people from vulnerable communities in Managua

  2. Develop hard, soft and technical skills that allow competitive advantages for labor world insertion


Workshop topics include:


  1. CV Writing - Best practices & using a CV template

  2. Leverage LinkedIn -Create your profile & best practices for the use of the platform

  3. How to conduct a successful interview - Recommendation for before, during and after the interview

  4. How to self-capacitate online - Best practices for further learning on digital platforms


Since the beginning of the project, the following has been achieved:


  • 17 Workshops

  • 13 Shapers Participating

  • 300 Beneficiaries

  • 9 Alliances:
