The project Financial Literacy Drive was initiated by the Gaya Hub to address financial literacy in and around the region of Gaya. Lack of financial literacy among the underprivileged members of society has led them to spend more than what they earn and to lack access to fundamental resources, including decent living conditions and education.

The project aims to develop awareness regarding basic financial tools like budgeting, savings, spending and risk-free investing, and to educate people about digital financial resources like e-money, banking services etc. Literacy about various governmental schemed like Jan-Dhan Yojana, Jeevan bima yojana, swasth bima yojana, Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojna, Aarakshit Rojgar Mahila Adhikar, Awsar Badhe, Aage badhe etc and other banking schemes will also be addressed. The project aims to impact 150 families in its initiation phase.
