Problem Statement

High school students from 14 to 18 years old in Valencia need training about basic Finance in order to use their money effectively as a means to meet their goals.

Target Group

High school students from 14 to 18 years old in Valencia.

Proposed Solution

We have a collaboration with a company that has developed a method to solve our problem. The method consists of a board game and of the training and accreditation of the high school teachers  that would in turn train the students with the help of the game.

Hub Activities

We are currently contacting potentially interested schools, negotiating a budget with the collaborating company, and exploring funding options to pay for the services that the company will provide.

Short & Long-Term Goals/Results

Our collaborating company selects between 30 and 40 teachers to participate in each edition of its training course. Our desired outcomes for this year are the completion of the course by 30-40 Valencian teachers, and the obtention of informative feedback from them. In the longer term, we would like to see that the participant teachers successfully put to use their acquired training with their students, in whatever format they choose. Informative feedback will be sought both in the short and in the longer term.

Available Metrics

For now, we will rely on two metrics to measure success. The first one is the number of editions of the training course per year in which we acted as intermediaries. The second one is the number of participant teachers that give us informative feedback about the implementation of their acquired training in their schools.
