Impact

Food4All

Food price rises have put huge pressure on Londoners’ budgets, especially low-income Londoners who have to spend a higher proportion of their income on food. The project aims to contribute to addressing food poverty, exacerbated by the Cost of Living Crisis, while contributing to the reduction of food waste. To address this ongoing issue, the team will place community fridges across London, especially in areas with the highest levels of food poverty and the inability to access local food banks.

Short-term Objective: Developing an expanding network of community fridges in vulnerable locales in London

Long-term Objective: Turning these community fridges into supermarket-like centres where people can buy food at a heavily discounted rates
