Target Group: Australian youth and their allies, government, industry
Proposed Solution: To drive a high-scale dialogue between Australian youth and influential leaders across government, business, and other key sectors/stakeholder groups to co-design what the future of Australia should look like.
Hub Activities:
This project is part of a Global Shapers cross-hub collaboration started by the Sydney Hub.
The project is being driven to success by three working teams:
- Partnerships and content team
- Dialogues and campaign team
- Impact, insights and report team
Every participating hub is represented in a national advisory committee with most also having representation in the above working groups.
Short & Long-Term Goals/Results:
- Short term: Collect >2000 submissions from Australian youth which will be used to create a ‘Uniquely Australian Report’ on what a youth-driven recovery in Australia could look like. This report will include ideated impact projects focused on systems change across four key focus areas: Conscious Consumerism, Next-Gen ESG, and Net Zero.
- Long term: To launch a selection of the ideated impact projects to drive systems change in Australia
