Future Makers Workshop

Problem Statement: Underprivileged children need guidance and support to harness their entrepreneurial potential and take steps on the entrepreneurial journey in order to uplift themselves and contribute positively to society.

Target Group: Underprivileged children with potential entrepreneurial interests.

Proposed Solution: The Future Makers workshop is designed to foster an entrepreneurial mindset among underprivileged children. Recognizing that children inherently possess many entrepreneurial characteristics, the workshop aims to nurture and develop these traits further. Spanning a day, the workshop equips them with the essentials of brainstorming, planning, and launching a small business idea.

Hub Activities: Organizing and executing a one-day workshop focused on entrepreneurial education for underprivileged children. Inviting three expert speakers to share their knowledge and insights on entrepreneurship. Collaborating with three sponsors to support the workshop's activities and objectives. Publishing an article to raise awareness about the initiative and its outcomes.

Short & Long-Term Goals/Results:


  • Short-Term: To successfully conduct the workshop, ensuring active participation from over 30 attendees and imparting essential entrepreneurial knowledge.

  • Long-Term: To instill a lasting entrepreneurial spirit among the participating children, equipping them to pursue and establish successful ventures in the future, thereby changing their socio-economic circumstances.

Available Metrics: The workshop witnessed the participation of over 30 attendees, with insights from three expert speakers. The initiative also garnered support from three sponsors and received coverage through a published article.
