Rawalpindi is a historic garrison city but modern Rawalpindi is socially and economically intertwined with Islamabad. As a dynamic city that boasts services like banking, insurance, telecom, oil and gas refineries, Rawalpindi is successfully contributing to Pakistan's GDP. Gaining a better understanding of how the city fairs regarding the future of work will help the city's administration as well as organizations to understand the short and long-term implications of their actions across sectors.

The goals of the project are to:

• Understand the gaps with regards to future of work in Rawalpindi


• Develop concrete plans for capacity building and infrastructure development


• Help administrators and organizations develop appropriate work environments
