Ganhando O Mundo - Digital Version (COVID-19)

Problem

People and animals from the city of Fortaleza were in a situation of social and economic vulnerability due to the COVID-19 Pandemic


Solution

Concerning this problem, the project aimed to do a fundraising campaign via social media. Additionally, in exchange for donations people would receive video classes made by the hub's shapers. The project started in May, 2020 and finished in August, 2020. 


Goal

The main goal was to help 3 Charity Associations: AUÊ, Abrigo São Lázaro and Rotas Solidárias receive food, cleaning and hygiene products, which were essential to overcome the advent of the Pandemic, while the animals received portions. 


Activities:


  • Identifying the associations to be helped;

  • Selecting the Shapers who would produce the video lessons;

  • Producing the video lessons and add them to our YouTube channel: (https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCvRIUhOlF0rh_s0a1ZkzM1Q?view_as=subscriber)

  • Launching a campaign on social media asking for donations and publicizing the partner associations;

  • Monitoring donations to make the videos available for the donors;

  • Collecting and treating of the satisfaction survey;

  • Writing the report and closure of project.

Available Metrics:


  • 21 posts were made on social media, with a reach of 6,898; 10 donors, totalizing R$ 210.00 in donations, what’s equivalent to 65 meals or 18 hygiene kits or 7 basic baskets or 15 kilos of feed (R $ 100.00 - Abrigo São Lázaro, R - Auê do Amor, R $ 35.00 Rotas Solidárias)

  • 5 shapers participated directly and all 22 shapers of the HUB helped in the online campaign.

  • The social media campaign lasted around 1 month
