Although there are many workers who can work remotely, some other people have not been able to adapt to the current situation: freelancers with their small businesses, people dedicated to manufacturing, merchants, etc. They have had to isolate themselves in their homes due to the COVID-19 quarantine.

In this situation, the Bilbao Hub, together with several entrepreneurs, has decided to create a gymkhana or digital escape room as a more elaborate leisure alternative for these people who do not know very well how to spend their days.

The content of this escape room is available on Instagram (@gincanavirus) and on a web page (https://gv19.org/) that has been enabled for it, and has been built in Spanish, so that currently it can only be played by people who understand Spanish. Also, it is not about completing a random set of tasks: there is an underlying plot that allows us to reflect on reactions, relationships, etc. that COVID-19 has caused, as well as similar events that occurred in the past.

A pesar de que haya habido soluciones de teletrabajo para bastantes trabajadores, hay casos que no han podido adaptarse: autónomos con sus pequeños negocios, personas dedicadas a manufactura en fábricas, comerciantes, etc. Han tenido que recluirse en sus casas debido a la cuarentena por la pandemia COVID-19.

Ante esta situación, el Hub de Bilbao, junto a varios emprendedores del entorno, ha decidido generar una gincana o escape room digital a modo de alternativa de ocio más elaborada para estas personas que no saben demasiado bien en qué dedicar sus largas horas sin ocupar.

El contenido de esta escape room está disponible en Instagram (@gincanavirus) y en una página web (https://gv19.org/) que se ha habilitado para ello, y se ha construido en español, así que solamente puede jugarse en la actualidad por personas que comprendan el español. Además, no se trata de un conjunto de pruebas aleatorio: existe una trama generada que permite pensar en reacciones, relaciones, que el COVID-19 ha provocado, así como hechos similares que sucedieron en el pasado, etc.
