PROBLEM STATEMENT:

Young people in Munich need to learn about the Global Goals and be empowered to create action around them so they can contribute to reaching the SDGs on a global level.

TARGET GROUP:

Young people in Munich, Local Companies in and around Munich

PROPOSED SOLUTION:

By organising a yearly Design Thinking Jam in which we bring young people together with experienced facilitators to work on creating projects around the SDGs that are tackled by local companies.

HUB ACTIVITIES:

Organising the event and follow up activities since 2019, bringing local SDG related real challenges from local companies to the event.

SHORT-TERM GOALS /RESULTS:

First Jam: 30 participants that created 5 projects in different areas, 2 of them still ongoing.

LONG-TERM GOALS /RESULTS:

Long term change would be the results of the projects created and worked on during the Jam as well as the general knowledge on the SDGs and design thinking methodology, creating an ecosystem of changemakers.
