Problem Statement
This project started with the identification of a problem: public school students should have access to project management training to improve their professional skills, but this competence is not accessible through their school curriculum education.
Target Group
Public high school students
Proposed Solution
In partnership with PMI Institution, the Fortaleza Hub proposed to organize a talk/lesson on project management, with a facilitator invited by PMI Institution (Fernando Bartelle), for public high school students
Hub Activities
The Fortaleza Shapers were in charge of welcoming and assisting students participating in the talk and also assisted in the distribution of kits to participants, coffee break and etc.
Short & Long-Term Goals/Results
In terms of short-term results, the talk provided high school students with a different perspective on project management, one that can be used in real life. The event was overall positively evaluated by the audience.
There was no follow up with the target group, it is therefore challenging to draw long-term impact.
