The Global Shapers Lucerne Hub will measure the happiness in the greater Lucerne region. The project team will work with the well-established and scientifically grounded Perma Profiler by Seligman, Butler, Kern questionnaire: https://www.peggykern.org/uploads/5/6/6/7/56678211/the_perma-profiler_101416.pdf. 

Main objectives of the project include:

• Representatively measure the happiness in the greater Lucerne region. 


• Build awareness of areas in which the local population is unhappy. 


• Initiate follow-on project to improve the state of happiness of the local population. 

The project team strives to achieve a representative sample to make sound conclusions on the happiness of the regional population along various dimensions. The aim is to build a solid foundation for follow-on projects e.g. in happiness dimensions that do not perform well among the sample population.
