Wait and worry – these are two attributes that often define the lives of immigrants as they seek asylum. To build community, enable cohesion and bring joy, Amsterdam Hub hosts weekly dinners for refugees. To date, Shapers have served over 1,000 hot  meals. Each meal is sponsored by a local business and over 100 donors have come forward, often offering more than just food –  but economic opportunities and friendship as well.
