Homelocker is a partnership with local Brisbane e-waste facility Reo-3, who employ only people who have experienced homelessness. Homelocker is a series of controlled access lockers that will enable people sleeping rough to have a secure place to store their belongings. Having a place to store things can enable transitioning out of homelessness by making it easier to secure a job (where do you put your things on your way to an interview?), be mobile to find services, and make life generally easier. The Brisbane hub is assisting Reo3 to identify stakeholders, raise funds, identify key issues and help to progress the building of the lockers to full implementation.

Goal: As part of the initial phase, the Hub aims to implement three locker installments in South Brisbane by the end of June 2020, providing 20 lockers.
