The Lagos Hub announced an international partnership with HP Life in 2022 to promote and accelerate digital transformation within the borders of Africa’s most populous nation, Nigeria.

Digital transformation in Nigeria faces challenges including limited internet access, inadequate ICT infrastructure, and a significant digital divide. As of September 2021, internet penetration in Nigeria was only 54.9%, and broadband penetration reached 45.07%. These factors contribute to disparities between urban and rural areas and hinder the widespread adoption of digital technologies. Affordability remains a concern, hindering access for many Nigerians. Addressing these issues requires efforts to improve infrastructure, promote digital literacy, and ensure affordability.
