Problem Statement

Based on a panel discussion conducted with 13 youth activist organizations for climate action, it was identified that there is an unaddressed relationship gap between public entities (government, municipalities, etc.) and youth organizations in Santiago. The latter needs to maintain and build sustainable connections in order to participate and influence decision-making processes (e.g., regional development plan) regarding the climate crisis.

Target Group

Young climate advocates of Santiago.

Proposed solution

We propose enhancing the capacities of youth environmental activist to promote climate action in Santiago Metropolitan Region. The primary objective is to empower these organizations by providing them with essential knowledge and resources that foster effective collaboration and engagement between the government and youth actors. This project seeks to focus on developing leadership skills for climate action in the city.
