Journey of the Soul: Xin Ling Zhi Lu

We want to tackle mental health misinformation in Taipei culture and connect people to mental health services. Our target group is parents of school-age children and the youth. Parents who have children on the spectrum of some mental illness often find it hard to cope with that and need the support on how a diagnosis such as autism, ADHD etc means for their child. For the youth, we have read the alarming statistics provided by WHO that worldwide, depression affects 264 million people. In a fast-paced world, everything can be so overwhelming. We hope our community can be encouraged and connected to the services they need to tackle these issues. We want to connect people to mental health services then track that progress, on how its imprives their wellbeing. Activities: -Info Sessions: this fall we will host parent info sessions to start conversations on such issues. -Social media curated content to educate on mental health and share information on important awareness days. Short Term Goals -To host 6 events within the coming 6 months (one each month, including virtual, in-person and interactive hosting methods.
