The LA Action Series is a new project by the Los Angeles Hub of the Global Shapers Community, an initiative of the World Economic Forum.

This speaker series (via in-person events and podcast episodes) addresses key issues in Los Angeles by elevating local voices and providing actionable items for listeners to take into their communities. Each event/episode focuses on a topic that affects our communities.

The first event in February 2022 focused on "Unwinding the Hustler Mindset." The speakers were Lisa Hope King (business reporter at Axios), Karthy Chandra (CEO of Goalden Hour), Pilar Zárate Chaves (Co-founder of Bonda.ai & LA Shaper), and Allison Trowbridge (CEO of Copper Books).

As of mid-2022, the team is focused on releasing a selection of podcast episodes. Planned topics include:
