The project “Liberta e responsabilita - laboratori di consapevolezza” was born out of several Shapers’ desire to share creative tools that had helped them to take a spiritual ownership of their lives and careers.

Awareness (consapevolezza) is a very precise term that is often misused and confused with the term consciousness (consciousness). People say "I am aware of x, but cannot change it". They should rather say: “I see x happening, but I cannot change it, because I am not aware of the mechanisms that cause it". Conscience is always veiled by prejudices, mental schemas and fixed opinions. It is never connected to the reality of the present. Consciousness produces reactions based on the past experience, projecting them mechanically onto the future. Awareness, on the other hand, makes it possible to recognize a particular thing or phenomenon here and now. The lack of awareness negatively affects individuals and entire organizations because awareness is a precondition for adequate reactions to any stimuli and to generating a real change. “We have within us all the resources that we need to live freely, achieve personal success by fulfilling our human potential, and influence the social and economic system in which we live. This is why moving from a limited state of consciousness to an enlarged one up to awareness is a necessary step if you want to expand your freedom and creativity”, claimed project initiators. 

In order to help others discover the power of self-awareness, Shapers developed the project “Laboratori di consapevolezza” in cooperation with Mr. Anurag Gaeta, a former staff director and HR expert, who had been offering a cutting-edge path to true success and happiness in one's work and life for at least 20 years. Meditation teacher, coach and business consultant with the systemic method, he uses all the western and oriental techniques useful to get out of one's mental patterns, contact inner resources and realize the life you want. He created the “Conscious Leader: For Effortless Leadership” path. He holds courses to make creativity blossom, training of Family and Relational Constellations and implements cultural transformation interventions in companies.

The project resulted in an intense free-of-charge bootcamp with Mr. Anurag Gaeta on 13 May 2018 in Hare Krishna Centre in Turin for 23 registered participants.
