Let’s Talk About YES is a dynamic movement that encourages individuals to pledge to engage in conversations about the Uluru Statement from the Heart in various creative ways.  

Under the hashtags #letstalkaboutyesau and #pledgeaconvo, the Sydney Hub is inviting the community to pledge 100,000 conversations about YES and the Uluru Statement From the Heart. 

The goal is to:

• Promote joy, connection and respect to encourage, and support, conversations about the Referendum. 


• Showcase conversations such as “phone a grandparent”; or “chat about a song that resonates for you in the context of the referendum”.


• Champion inclusive conversations where discussions feel safer, regardless of individual background (acknowledging public pledges are harder for some in the community).
