The Kurdistan Region in Iraq is facing the consequences of climate change enormously - not only are is temperature rising but also the air quality is worsening. Having one of the lowest air quality around the world, there is barely any greenery in the region.

Erbil Hub aims to improve the situation by planting one thousand trees in the suburbs of the capital city, Erbil. Our target are schools in these suburbs. By planting trees and increasing the greenery, we enhance the area. Additionaly, we spread awareness among the pupils and teachers.

In collaboration with a local organization, we have already launched the initative last month.
