Problem Statement:

Due to the news due to COVID-19, face-to-face education has been affected by the closure of its physical spaces and they are currently experiencing the most transcendental technological adventure in history. These great changes that education faces to the use of the virtual environment in 100% occurs even in the best universities in the world such as Harvard that has announced that from this second semester of 2020 it will go to a virtual education in all its careers.

The new normal generates the need to create virtual spaces for learning, debate and knowledge exchange to face this scenario, thus giving the sensation of normality and contributing to emotional stability through tools and methodologies that contribute to counteract the economic crisis of Covid- 19 developing new skills in citizens.

  

About MasterClass INECEM:

"Masterclass INECEM" is an initiative of the INECEM Research and Innovation Institute of the Catholic University of Santiago de Guayaquil that invites national and international business, political and cultural leaders to give context to the economic and business conversation of Face to the Pandemic. In each issue, content from 2 weeks of graduate study is shared in 40 minutes.

With #MasterClassINECEM, the first 100 attendees - previously registered - of the live broadcast that takes place on the Facebook and YouTube platforms are certified. This certificate has academic weight since it is issued by the Vice President for Research and Graduate Studies of the Catholic University of Santiago de Guayaquil.

In addition, at the end of the same month, it is broadcast on national television by the UCSG Tv channel, the channel with the greatest national coverage, also available internationally through its website.The intention is to provide the community with quality higher education with capacity knowledge to be implemented immediately.

   

Target Group:

Ecuadorians from the economically active population with or without a salaried and entrepreneurial status seeking certified professional training in the city of Guayaquil and throughout Ecuador.

   

Proposed Solution:

#MasterclassINECEM is an initiative of the Institute for Research and Innovation in Economic and Business Studies INECEM, which has the support of the SINDE Research and Development System, Global Shapers Guayaquil, InfoConfiable and Team Matilde.

This is a space created to instruct the Guayaquil community on economic and business issues, with national and international guests from Face to the Pandemic.

   

Hub Activities

- Communication of the event: graphic design and publication on social networks

- Database: Data analysis for monthly call and communication strategies

- Event administration: Responsible for all technical assistance before and during the transmission. Creation of virtual programming

   

Short & Long-Term Goals/Results:

- Train with resilience skills and knowledge of interest to at least 80 people in each event

- Issue at least 50 professional training certificates bimonthly

- Publicize the work of Global Shapers Guayaquil to at least 50 people every two months

- Maintain the first institutional alliance of Global Shapers Guayaquil with the INECEM institute for 1 year
