Mentoring of young people

Many young people especially from vulnerable groups (for example low-income families, people with autism, etc.) often have it harder in school, in finding a job, or in other situations in everyday life than their peers.

In addition to that, there are also lots of young people in school who would like to get more information about entrepreneurship, informatics and topics like how to get a stipend.

This initative of the Global Shapers Heidelberg Hub advocates for these people and works also closely with schools and universities to support them best.

The main goal is giving young people the support they need by helping them in decision-making processes and in difficult situations with advice and assistance. Members of this initiative provide advice, show best practices and different possibilities either in 1:1 talks or in group sessions.
