Multigeneration Conversation - Conversa MultiGeração

Multigeneration Conversation (Conversa MultiGeração) is Joinville's Hub continuous project since 2016, it's currently in its 6th edition. The project aims at improving relationships between generations through conversations focused on historical facts that affected our local environment and culture. The main idea is to clash generations with a spokesperson between 18-29 years and another one with 50+ years. The moderator of the conversation is usually the currently Hub curator, with the possibility of any Global Shaper to take that role. Conversations themes and spokespersons are chosen in ordinary reunions of the Joinville Shapers. The Hub is trying to address the challenges of lack of relationships between generations and the overuse of the internet, also indirectly expanding the knowledge about local and regional facts. Multigeneration Conversations are points of collision, for the youth and the experienced spokespersons, clarifying the youngers and energizing the experienced. Our main impact is to introduce a great environment with usually unknown spokespersons, great and modern themes, interacting with the public.

The objective is to improve relationships between generations and reduce the overuse of the internet, also indirectly expanding the knowledge about local and regional facts. Youth will clarify some doubts. Experienced people will be energized. We measure it by the number of participants directly and how many will be affected indirectly.
